Young Concert Artists Winner: Nathan Lee, piano

At the age of 15, Nathan Lee’s budding career has already earned critical praise as well as standing ovations for performances of stunning musical maturity. Lee won First Prize in the 2016 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, also picking up 14 performance prizes. The Young Concert Artists competition works to discover and launch the careers of exceptional young musicians from all over the world. Lee, who lives just outside Seattle, Washington, began playing the piano at age six and made his orchestral debut at the age of nine. He has shared the stage with Jean-Yves Thibaudet and Lang Lang, raising funds for Seattle Symphony music education programs. The Sunday Salon setting will provide the perfect environment in which to enjoy the music of this next-generation emerging artist.

Salon-style performances offer a close connection between artists and guests, as audience members sit in six rows of seats on stage with the performer. Light refreshments are served before and after the performance. Balcony tickets (without refreshments) are also available.
