En Garde Arts presents WILDERNESS
WILDERNESS is a raw, honest, and ultimately uplifting portrait of 21st-century youth and their families, by the critically acclaimed team that last season brought to Krannert Center BASETRACK Live, which was deemed "an exhilarating evening of documentary theatre" by The New York Times. Produced by En Garde Arts and co-adapted by Seth Bockley and Anne Hamburger, WILDERNESS weaves live performance, documentary interviews, immersive projection design, and an original acoustic score to convey stories of parents and young adults in crisis who turn to the healing powers of the wilderness to rebalance their lives. It highlights the power of self-reflection, human connection, and what it means to really listen. The score showcases brilliant young composers Kyle Henderson and Kyle Miller of the group Tow'rs, whose music explores "the questions that haunt us, the pain that marks us and the hope that redefines us."
