Aga Khan Master Musicians with Vincent Peirani and Vincent Séga
Join the Aga Khan Master Musicians for an extraordinary evening of musical innovation and cultural dialogue. Brought together by the Aga Khan Music Programme, this acclaimed ensemble unites elite performers and composer-arrangers whose artistry is rooted in the traditions of the Middle East, Mediterranean Basin, Central Asia, and China. Blending canonical forms with contemporary expression, the Master Musicians create a vibrant, original sound that honors heritage while embracing new creative possibilities.
Featuring virtuoso accordion player Vincent Peirani and exploratory cellist Vincent Ségal, the ensemble is completed with distinguished artists Wu Man on pipa (a four-stringed Chinese lute), Basel Rajoub on saxophone, Feras Charestan on qanun (a Middle-Eastern zither), Abbos Kosimov on doira (Uzbek frame drum), and Yurdal Tokcan on oud in a program showcasing exceptional mastery and cross-cultural collaboration transcending boundaries and reimagining traditions.
