Scott Silven's The Lost Things
“Theatre is a doorway,” says illusionist Scott Silven. “A place where we gather in the dark, drawn together by stories that remind us who we are, who we were, and who we might become. It’s where we witness the impossible, feel the weight of the past, and step into the unknown, together. And The Lost Things is about that unknown.” A joyful exploration of wonder, memory, and shared experience, Silven’s awe-inspiring 75-minute show reveals the mysterious side of human nature through breathtaking illusions and an evocative narrative. Directed by Graham McLaren and designed by Jamie Vartan, The Lost Things reminds you that even in loss, there is beauty to be found—and that sometimes, getting lost is the first step toward truly finding yourself.
