Third Rail Projects: There's a Ghost in Everything Workshop
Step inside the creative process with New York–based Third Rail Projects, one of today’s leading creators of immersive and experiential performance. This special work-in-progress showing offers audiences an early look at There’s a Ghost in Everything, a new production currently being developed with students and faculty from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign ahead of its Spring 2027 premiere at Krannert Center.
Blending dance, theater, storytelling, and song, There’s a Ghost in Everything surrounds audiences in an immersive world where community memories and shared rituals come alive. Guests are invited into a village where it is always autumn, joining performers in a festival honoring the community’s ghosts while helping weave together fragments of stories in real time.
Developed through the University of Illinois Department of Theatre’s Daniel J. Sullivan Artists-in-Residence Program, the project is supported by the Anda New Works Theatre Production Endowment.
