The Jupiter String Quartet brings over 20 years of intimate collaboration to the stage. Known for their warmth, insight, and adventurous spirit, they bridge classical and contemporary works with clarity and heart, illuminating connections between pieces with each thoughtfully crafted program.
Joining the Quartet is acclaimed pianist Bernadette Harvey, celebrated for her virtuosic command, interpretive depth, and bold championing of contemporary music. A frequent collaborator with renowned ensembles including the Tokyo, Dover, and Shanghai Quartets, Harvey brings a dynamic presence to chamber music stages around the world. She premiered and recorded Pierre Jalbert's Piano Quintet with the Jupiter Quartet in 2019, a testament to their musical synergy. A passionate advocate for new work and a recipient of Australia's Centenary Medal, Harvey infuses each performance with both technical brilliance and profound emotional resonance. This collaboration promises a program rich in connection, exploration, and expressive power.
