Stanley Clarke & Hiromi along with PUBLIQuartet - Celebration of the music of Chick Corea
National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master Stanley Clarke joins forces with acclaimed pianist Hiromi—both Grammy Award winners—for a powerful tribute to the late Chick Corea. Blending Corea’s iconic compositions with original works inspired by his legacy, the program celebrates a towering figure whose influence spanned bebop, fusion, and beyond. Clarke, Corea’s longtime collaborator in Return to Forever, and Hiromi—mentored by Corea from a young age—honor a shared musical lineage rooted in innovation and expressive freedom.
They are joined by PUBLIQuartet, a Grammy-nominated ensemble praised by The Washington Post and The New Yorker for its bold, genre-defying approach to chamber music. This collaboration offers a dynamic and deeply personal celebration of Corea’s enduring impact on the music of our time.
