Redline Collection
Illinois Theatre’s fall 2021 performances in the Studio Theatre represent the many different stages through which new works develop, from festivals of short plays, to workshops, to full productions. The Redline Collection weeklong workshop will culminate in a weekend of staged readings for the public. The workshop process helps a new play develop as the playwright—in this case Kristen Joy Bjorge, a 2010 Illinois Theatre graduate—hears their words, working with directors and actors to refine and develop story line, character, and more.
