Raphaël Feuillâtre: An ELLNORA Reverb Event
Considered the new global face of classical guitar, Raphaël Feuillâtre fascinates listeners with the depth of his interpretations, his dazzling technique, and the richness of his repertoire. Born in Djibouti and raised in Cholet, France, by immigrant parents, Feuillâtre began winning guitar competitions at age 18, graduated from the elite Paris Conservatoire, released his first recording at 23, and three years later signed a contract with Deutsche Grammophon, classical music’s most prestigious label. In 2023, he became the second-most listened-to classical artist on Apple Classical. This charismatic French guitarist with the creative vision required to make works from all periods sound as if they were written yesterday—alive, heartfelt, filled with color—notes: “My goal is always to allow the guitar to sing.”
