Join Sarah Fornace, one of Manual Cinema’s five artistic directors, as she shares the company’s puppetry methods in this 30-minute video that is available on demand throughout the month of December. Sarah will focus on Manual Cinema’s fun tricks and techniques for creating Zoom puppetry and shadow shows using your computer, a lamp, and craft materials from around the house!
Materials for puppet-making: Paper, drawing supplies (crayons or markers), scissors, tape, and sticks or straws. Optional: printed images from the computer or cut-outs from magazines; gathered items from around the house to put on as costumes.
Recommended for ages 7 and up. Younger viewers can participate with the help of an adult.
