Illinois Soul 3rd Anniversary Celebration: Kindred the Family Soul and Damon Williams
Illinois Soul 101.1 FM celebrates three years amplifying Black voices and culture in East-Central Illinois! This year’s anniversary party celebrates resilience and community, love and laughter with the husband-and-wife neo-soul duo Kindred the Family Soul (Aja Graydon and Fatin Dantzler) and “Funny Man” Damon Williams.
Kindred—artists, songwriters, and proud parents of six—tackles current issues facing the country, offering ways to cope and emphasizing things that can’t be taken away. Whether you know them through their recordings, their interactive website Six Is It, or the national Walmart commercial celebrating family reunions, Kindred’s message of love and perseverance resonates across all demographics.
A former business owner from Chicago who began his comedy career at All Jokes Aside Comedy Club, the legendary comedian/actor/writer/producer Damon Williams has graced thousands of stages worldwide with his sensational and hilarious delivery of comedy for over 30 years.
