No Puedo, I'm Sorry, by Ariel Cipolla, Daniel J. Sullivan Playwright-in-Residence

In No Puedo, I’m Sorry, Ariel Cipolla’s intimate new play, we encounter Olivia and Nathan, two people longing for a deep connection. In searching for love, what do we sacrifice? When do we find ourselves in another human, and when do we lose ourselves?

The Daniel J. Sullivan Playwright-in-Residence program provides emerging and established playwrights with a laboratory to explore bold, relevant narratives and innovative forms. Named for Professor Emeritus and Tony Award-winning director Daniel J. Sullivan, the residency creates an environment that encourages deep artistic exploration and honors Sullivan’s enduring commitment to the development of the American theatre. It offers students a valuable opportunity to engage with emerging theatrical creations, allowing them to infuse their creativity into works that are still evolving. This program addresses the urgent need to support the creation of new works and maintain the vitality of the performing arts community.
