Chicago Symphony Orchestra
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra returns to Krannert Center for its 34th magnificent performance in the fitting splendor of the Foellinger Great Hall. A cultural pride and joy of not only our state but also our nation, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra is consistently hailed as one of the greatest orchestras in the world. Riccardo Muti, the 10th music director of the CSO and one of today's most celebrated maestros, leads the orchestra in Mussorgsky's wildly atmospheric A Night on Bald Mountain, followed by Strauss' orchestral showpiece Don Juan. Bruckner's colossal Symphony No. 7 completes the program.
