Bassist Danny Weinkauf is a Grammy Award winner and longtime member of They Might Be Giants—with whom he wrote songs for the albums No!, Here Come the 123s, Here Comes Science, and Why? (all awarded Recording Industry Association of America Gold certification). Now with the Red Pants Band, Weinkauf packs his deliciously catchy tunes with pop beats and intelligent topics that reach kids with fun facts and life lessons ranging from cloud science and botany to self-esteem and voting. And yes, they really wear red pants, and you’re welcome to, too!
