Assisting performers include Cara Chowning (piano) and University of Illinois woodwind faculty and bassoon students. This recital will feature an eclectic mix of music including Suite for Bassoon and Piano (1960) by Alexandre Tansman, Elegy for Innocence for Bassoon and Piano (2008) by  Jeff Scott, Adagio and Allegro for Woodwind Quartet (1790) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, In a Sentimental Mood for Bassoon Quartet (1935) by Duke Ellington and After the Rain for Oboe, Bassoon and Piano (2005) by Theodor Burkali.
