School Performance: Canadian Brass (KCYS)
This performance is part of the Krannert Center Youth Series, school-day performances for public, private, and home schools, grades PreK-12.
The “world’s most famous brass group” has been both entertaining and educating audiences for nearly five decades. From Dixieland to Baroque, Romantic to pop, this quintet of consummate professionals delivers utmost skill paired with an equal dose of spontaneity and fun. They continue to top the charts with over 130 albums, lend their talents to PBS specials (including a stop at Sesame Street), and tour the globe to captivate audiences. This performance offers a fast-paced tour of many musical styles and the lives of professional musicians, with an emphasis on the joy of making music. The performance will also provide time for questions from you and your students!
