Ronnie Baker Brooks Band

Chicago “blues royalty” Ronnie Baker Brooks first started playing guitar at age six—at the knee of Gulf Coast/Chicago blues legend, the late Lonnie Brooks (“Guitar Jr.”), who just happened to be his dad. He set out on the road at age 19, playing alongside the globe’s finest blues musicians and soon formed his own band to critical acclaim. His latest album, Times Have Changed, was recorded at Royal Studios in Memphis and Blackbird Studio in Nashville and features legendary collaborators including Steve Cropper, Archie Turner, “Big Head” Todd Mohr, and Angie Stone, further establishing Brooks’ standing in the blues scene. Whether sliding through a series of superbly soulful standards or tearing it up on his outstanding originals, Brooks builds a bridge from the past, through the present, to the future of the blues.

This performance will last approximately one hour and 15 minutes with no intermission.
