The Nutcracker

A simple gift transforms a festive holiday party into an enchanted battle with militant mice and a princely hero. Join Clara, her Nutcracker Prince, and the talented young cast of the Champaign Urbana Ballet on a magical journey to a shimmering land of confectionary fairies, glittering global flair, and Tchaikovsky’s beloved score performed live by the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra. Please join us for a pre-performance Friday, December 1, at 6:30pm in the Krannert Center Lobby! Musical selections will be performed by the Edison Middle School Jazz Band. This performance will run approximately one hour and 50 minutes, and includes a 20-minute intermission. Recommended for ages 5 and up
