But Not Silence: Chamber Music Benefit for Ukraine
Jupiter String Quartet
“What is more opposite than music? The silence of ruined cities and killed people . . . . Support us in any way you can. Any, but not silence.”
—Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Despite the distance between Illinois and Ukraine, the Solideo Quartet and fellow artists seek to respond with music. This chamber music concert featuring Solideo Quartet, Jupiter String Quartet, and talented graduate students will seek to raise support and funding for orphaned children and displaced families in Ukraine. This is a casual concert where patrons are invited to come and go and enjoy a glass of wine from the Stage 5 Bar. All proceeds will go to ukrainabezsyrit—World Without Orphans—Ukraine. Donations to this cause are encouraged but not required to attend this concert.
