Los Angeles Guitar Quartet: Pachelbel's "Loose" Canon

Experience Johann Pachelbel’s beloved Canon in D as never before. In the hands of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, this 17th-century tune (heard at many a wedding) is set loose with Latin, bluegrass, jazz, and rock inflections.

Following the performance, please join Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and Krannert Center director Mike Ross for a spirited conversation about Pat Metheny’s Road to the Sun, a Krannert Center co-commissioned project for the LAGQ.
