Krannert Uncorked with Ron Bridgewater Quartet

In collaboration with the Champaign-Urbana Jazz Festival, Ron Bridgewater Quartet will perform at Krannert Uncorked. The annual festival is an exciting four day event: building, shaping, and curating local jazz. To learn more, please visit the festival's website.

Ron Bridgewater started his professional music career in 1972 with a State Department Tour. He has since performed under jazz greats, served as an assistant musical director on Broadway, and taught for more than 20 years in Billy Taylor’s Jazzmobile Workshop. Bridgewater also is featured in Cecil Bridgewater’s 1998 CD release, Mean What You Say. This featured performer currently teaches jazz saxophone and improvisation at the University of Illinois.
