Krannert Center Uncorked: Zo! & Tall Black Guy (feat. Debórah Bond)
This edition of Krannert Center Uncorked lies at the junction of Black History Month, Illinois Soul, and the Hip Hop Convene. When these three entities meet, you get the high-energy R&B of Zo! and Tall Black Guy.
When it comes to innovative tracks, you can't go wrong with Zo! and Tall Black Guy and their next-level creations that invoke the genre's classic sound while pushing it forward. Their album "Abstractions" is a testament to their powerful creativity.
The set showcases the undeniable chemistry between the musicians while inviting a whole host of their friends. They throw a bit of downtempo house into the mix and while rounding out their groove with keys, warm synth flourishes and an elastic bass line that will keep you moving all night long.
