Kevin Breit and the Upper York Mandolin Quartet

Kevin Breit has dazzled Krannert Center crowds in previous ELLNORA festivals and returns as our 2017 ELLNORA Ambassador. He’s performed with Norah Jones, Rosanne Cash, k.d. lang, Natalie McMaster, and many others—picking up JUNO Awards, a National Jazz Award, a Gemini Award, and playing on albums that have collected 10 Grammy Awards to boot! Lately, this “guitarist’s guitarist” has been delighting audiences with his mandolin chops, complemented by his masterful skills as a singer and band leader. The Upper York Mandolin Quartet consists of Breit, Andrew Collins, and Jess Cobb on mandolin, with Adrian Gross on the slightly larger mandola. Together, they will showcase their individual talents as well as Breit’s genius creativity.

This performance will last approximately 60 minutes with no intermission.
