Failure: A Love Story

By Philip Dawkins
JW Morrissette, director

Three sisters—Nelly, Jenny June, and Gerty Fail—live, love, and die in 1920s Chicago. Playwright Philip Dawkins has created an original story that propels the audience through an experience of puppets and songs, history and fantasy, laughter and tears. Although the Fails are a fictional family, their lives represent the ambitions, fears, and fates woven into the American Dream. Dawkins is emerging as a playful and significant playwriting presence in American theatre, and we are excited to include his work in this season.

This performance will run approximately one hour and 40 minutes. There will be no late seating for this performance.
