Rhiannon Giddens

Rhiannon GIddens is a two-time GRAMMY and Pulitzer Prize-winning singer, instrumentalist, and MacArthur "Genius" grant recipient known for redefining American music. With deep folk roots and modern vision, she spans genres-from opera to film-while spotlighting overlooked contributions to musical history. Called "fearless and ravenous" by Pitchfork, Giddens uses her art to advocate for a richer, more truthful understanding of America's cultural past. NPR named her one of the 25 Most Influential Women Musicians of the 21st Century, and American Songwriter hails her as "one of the most important musical minds currently walking the planet." Her work is as bold as it is essential.
