Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge (Stage 5)
Rolling Stone has proclaimed 18-year-old Grace Bowers as "Nashville's new guitar hero." Fueled by the blues of B.B. King and the funk of Sly and the Family Stone, Bowers has risen from her first appearances playing on social media during the pandemic to one of the most in-demand guitarists of this generation. She's been on stage with Dolly Parton, The Allman-Betts Family Revival, and Slash, among many others, and made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry on her 18th birthday.
Grace will open the festival with a performance of the National Anthem at 5:15pm.
If you're concerned about the future of roots rock guitar, come see Grace Bowers: you will leave with a grin on your face and your faith restored.
