St. Louis Symphony Orchestra
Celebrated as a leading American orchestra, the Grammy Award-winning St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is the second-oldest orchestra in the country. This season, SLSO marks its 144th year and its fifth year with Music Director Stéphane Denève. whose energetic musicianship, visionary storytelling, and collaborative spirit have created stronger connections with local and visiting artists, as well as advanced the SLSO’s role as a leader in music education. For this performance, SLSO collaborates with celebrated American pianist Jonathan Biss as he performs Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1.
