Other Ways to Give

“We are convinced that education through participation in culture is one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences people can enjoy—and, in these complex times, a most needed one.”

In 1969, Herman and Ellnora Krannert were encouraging everyone to immerse in the arts, and they established Krannert Center to provide a gathering place for sharing transformative moments. Just as the Center continues to span the performing arts from jazz to drama to ballet to classical music to multimedia theatre works to world dance and beyond, numerous avenues for participation await you. In addition to enjoying a performance from your theatre seat or dancing at OUTSIDE at Research Park, you can volunteer your time and talents, set up a trust to support Herman and Ellnora’s legacy, sponsor the Krannert Center Youth Series, celebrate the six-string masters of ELLNORA | The Guitar Festival, honor a loved one, or craft a singular way to meaningfully demonstrate your commitment to the arts.

We want to make it as easy as possible for you to extend your open-hearted nature to Krannert Center. You have many options for providing your gift.

ANNUAL GIFTS

No matter its size, each gift makes a difference. When you contribute, your generosity directly supports the performances you see each year.

HONORARY OR MEMORIAL GIFTS

Celebrate a milestone or honor a friend or loved one with a gift to Krannert Center’s performance season. Donations may be made in any amount and are fully tax-deductible.

CAMPAIGN FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES

Because of this program, students at the University of Illinois enjoy $10 tickets for nearly every event, other college students and children receive significant discounts, and local schoolchildren attend the Krannert Center Youth Series, a program designed to ignite the imaginations of youngsters through live performances and educational materials.

CREATIVE INTERSECTIONS

Especially memorable moments can arise within unfamiliar or unexpected contexts, and Creative Intersections will bring you up close to artists, take you backstage with production team members, or put you in conversations with noted scholars. The free concerts and activities that form the bedrock of this initiative let everyone revel in the joy and wonder of the arts.
