UI Symphony Orchestra, Oratorio Society, and Chamber Singers

The University of Illinois Symphony Orchestra (UISO) is the School of Music's premier orchestra. The Symphony Orchestra performs major literature from the 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.

The Oratorio Society is the university's symphonic choir made up of accomplished singers from the University student body, faculty and staff, and community musicians from throughout the region.

The University of Illinois Chamber Singers, the premier choral ensemble, is comprised of experienced and outstanding singers from across the entire student body demonstrating the highest level of musical excellence.

Following the performance, there will be a celebration in the Krannert Center lobby as the School of Music marks 125 years!

Tickets for this event will go on sale to the public at 10am on Tuesday, March 8. Tickets will be sold online only as mobile or print-at-home tickets and are not available for purchase by phone or at the Ticket Office counter. In order to attend an in-theatre performance at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, audience members must provide proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. This change is occurring in response to increasingly strict contractual requirements of visiting artists, evolving performing arts industry standards, and audience expectations. At this time, face coverings are still required in indoor university spaces such as Krannert Center. Face coverings must be worn throughout any event or performance.
