Tanya Tagaq: Ever Deadly

From Nunavut, Canada, Tanya Tagaq is an improvisational singer, avant-garde composer, author and actress. A member of the Order of Canada, Polaris Music Prize, JUNO Award winner and recipient of multiple honorary doctorates, Tagaq is an original disruptor, a world-changing figure at the forefront of seismic social, political and environmental change.

Krannert Center is proud to host a special screening of her 2022 documentary "Ever Deadly," co-directed by Chelsea McMullan, on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 7:30pm in the Colwell Playhouse.

Featuring exceptional concert footage of Tagaq's performances with personal moments woven in, the documentary takes viewers on a personal journey of Tagaq's extraordinary life and culture and the fight to preserve it.

This screening is free, but pre-registration is required.
