PYGMALION: Tig Notaro

From PYGMALION’s earliest incarnation 14 years ago, Krannert Center has partnered with the festival, supporting the incredible cultural engagement across its MUSIC, LITERATURE, and TECH components. In 2018, PYGMALION introduces yet another component to the mix: COMEDY. Tig Notaro, one of America’s most powerful comedic voices and star and creator of One Mississippi on Amazon Prime, will mark a new era of PYGMALION’s history with her headline appearance at Krannert Center.

In addition, the fourth annual TECH DEMO—a showcase of new robotics, virtual reality, gaming, 3-D printing, and more—will fill the Krannert Center Lobby before, during, and after performances. Human Library, which features community storytelling in a wide variety of traditions and is supported by the University of Illinois Library, will once again be a don’t-miss on-site feature. All Lobby events are free, all-ages, and open to the public.
