Leslie Cuyjet: For All Your Life
Leslie Cuyjet is a choreographer, dancer, and writer whose performances explore Black embodiment through text, video, and movement. Her solo work has been shown at EMPAC, The Kitchen, The Chocolate Factory, and The Shed. A 2025 Guggenheim Fellow, she has also received two Bessie Awards, a Princeton Hodder Fellowship, and support from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts. Based in Brooklyn, Cuyjet continues to create layered, research-driven work that bridges personal history and postmodern dance.
