January Dance Virtual Performance
Join us for a special livestream of January Dance Wednesday, January 28!
January Dance will be directed by Assistant Professor Alexandria Barbier who will also be premiering a new characteristically humorous and experimental, theatrical work. MFA candidate, former gymnast, and former David Dorfman Dance Company member Nik Owens premieres his thesis work, an athletic, probing romp into black queerness. Dance at Illinois distinguished alumni guest artists Laina Reese Warner-Powell and Ty Lewis round out this show premiering new group works.
January Dance 2025 will also be performed for in-person audiences January 30-February 1 in Krannert Center's Colwell Playhouse. More information and tickets are available here!
