Eli Winter Trio

This event will take place at Spurlock Museum.

Chicago-based guitarist / composer Eli Winter has received praise from Pitchfork, The Guardian, Stereogum, NPR, and others for playing genre-blurring music beyond his years. Winter’s trio featuring Tyler Damon on drums and Sam Wagster on pedal steel is a tight, musical three-piece blending intense dynamics, with the ability to listen and respond to each other in real time. Is it folk? Rock? Jazz? Something simply “other”? The answer to all of these questions is “yes.“ 

Eli Winter’s trio is featured on A Day Behind the Deadline, his first live album for Three Lobed Recordings (2023).
