Dreamgirls

The Banks Bridgewater Lewis Fine Arts Academy, in collaboration with Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, presents the musical Dreamgirls! This production of Dreamgirls will feature an amazing 24-person cast of local performers and a dynamic team of musicians, designers, theatrical artists, and 14 student interns all under the direction of Illinois Theatre faculty member Latrelle Bright and staff from both organizations. The beautifully rendered story follows the ups and downs of life in the 1960s R&B music scene and was an easy choice for this first venture into co-presented theatre-making for the two organizations.
