A festive tradition, this concert joins choruses, instrumentalists, and audience members in a celebration of the winter season. Audience sing-alongs of beloved carols will be interspersed with songs of the season sung by Black Chorus, Chamber Singers, Varsity Men’s Glee Club, Women’s Glee Club, and University Chorus—joined this year by the Jazz Vocal Ensemble at the end of their first semester under the direction of Barrington Coleman, who is now leading the U of I jazz vocal program. Come early to hear our Graduate Brass Quintet get the afternoon started with arrangements of popular carols and seasonal songs!
