Angie Pittman: Black Life Chord Changes
Angie Pittman is a New York-based dancer-choreographer whose work blends movement, sound, and text. Their choreography has been presented at The Kitchen, Gibney Dance, Danspace Project, and The Chocolate Factory Theater, among others. As a performer, they have worked with Larissa Velez-Jackson, Tere O'Connor, and currently with Cynthia Oliver and Ralph Lemon. Pittman is an Assistant Arts Professor at NYU and a 2024-2025 Center for Humanities Fellow developing their latest project, Holy Defiance.
