Reopening with ELLNORA | The Guitar Festival

ELLNORA The Guitar Festival Sep 17-18, 2021

August 23, 2021

Krannert Center welcomes the return of public, in-person audiences with ELLNORA | The Guitar Festival, September 17-18, 2021, a multi-style, multi-generational celebration of the guitar and its many relations. Health considerations for audience members, volunteers, staff members, and artists have been foremost in planning for this year’s festival, which will take place on a smaller scale than previous years while featuring ELLNORA’s hallmark level and diversity of artistry.

As with so much during the pandemic, this year’s lineup is subject to change, including possible additions. Updates will be sent in upcoming e-newsletters and will be posted on KrannertCenter.com. No season book will be printed/mailed this year.

Tickets for ELLNORA | The Guitar Festival will go on sale to the public at 10am on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Tickets will be sold online only as mobile or print-at-home tickets and are not available for purchase by phone or at the Ticket Office counter. Before the on-sale date, please visit Krannert Center’s online ticket office to ensure you have or can create an active account. At this time, face coverings are required in indoor university spaces such as Krannert Center. As part of the University of Illinois, Krannert Center follows U of I guidelines regarding face coverings and other COVID-19 safety protocols. These guidelines change as conditions change, so we will continue to adjust our practices and keep you informed throughout the season. In addition, people who are NOT fully vaccinated are required to wear a face covering outdoors when they cannot practice social distancing.

As Krannert Center welcomes audiences again, the Center supports YMCA Welcoming Week, which celebrates the growing movement of communities that fully embrace newcomer immigrants and their contributions to the social fabric of our country. Welcoming Week 2021 encourages local communities to make welcoming and belonging more than just a feeling, but an action we can all take.
