Krannert Center Seeking an Assistant Director for Programming and Engagement

Krannert Center is currently inviting applications for an Assistant Director for Programming and Engagement. Duties for this position include developing performance and engagement activities of local, national, and international artists collaborating with Krannert Center in support of the advancement of education, research, and public engagement through the performing arts. Through the role of curation, the Assistant Director of Programming and Engagement will create pathways for and ensure the presence of diverse voices and perspectives in the curation process, specifically centering voices of people who identify as Black, Indigenous, and people of color while demonstrating respect and cultural understanding to further empower and support communities to thrive. Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience working in a cultural, arts, or entertainment organization, venue, or agency where responsibilities included artistic curation and contracting related to artistic performances required.  Applications must be received in full by February 16, 2023 to be considered.
