Krannert Center: The Art of Gathering

Join Krannert Center Director Mike Ross and emcee Julie Gunn (Director of Lyric Theatre Studies and world-renowned pianist) as we help paint Chicago orange with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's Illini Days. Artists and their art have always given people reason to gather, and for almost five decades Krannert Center has served as a unique focal point for the art of gathering. Join us for Krannert Center: The Art of Gathering—an evening of cocktails, catered hors d’oeuvres, conversation, and camaraderie as Mike, Julie, and special guests (including Vanessa Moss and Heidi Lukas from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Julia Rhoads of Chicago’s Lucky Plush Productions) discuss the past and future of Krannert Center as it approaches its 50th anniversary in 2019. Tickets are $20 each and should be purchased in advance. Remarks begin at 6:30pm.
