Joe Deninzon, electric viola

Joe Deninzon has been hailed by critics as "the Jimi Hendrix of the violin,” because of his innovative style and performance with an electric seven-string viola. Deninzon has worked with Sheryl Crow, Bruce Springsteen, Phoebe Snow, Everclear, Ritchie Blackmore, Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin, Robert Bonfiglio, Les Paul, and as a soloist with the New York City Ballet and Jazz at Lincoln Center. He will perform original compositions and virtuosic jazz, hip hop, and rock viola solos.

This performance will last 90 minutes with no intermission.
