Dance at Illinois: February Dance Livestream

Dance at Illinois invites you to a free livestream of February Dance on Wednesday, February 10 at 7:30pm.

Three third year Dance at Illinois MFA students present their rigorously researched thesis choreography. Marlee Doniff explores the unruly, malleable, and ever-dynamic states of queerness—set within a DIY aesthetic. Hip Hop artist Ethan Rome unpacks nomadism and the East Asian Diaspora in an exploding, cascading athletic ode to spirals. And Chelsea Wahrendorf vivifies the visceral, guttural, and wily phenomenon of memory in a cathartic dance poem.

February Dance 2027 will also be performed for in-person audiences February 11-13 in Krannert Center’s Colwell Playhouse.
