Illinois Bands in the Amphitheatre
Illinois Bands will present an outdoor concert at the Krannert Center Amphitheatre beginning at 11am. Enjoy live chamber music performed throughout the afternoon by all of the Illinois Bands chamber ensembles that were formed for the spring semester. Pause and listen for awhile as you’re passing by, or grab some lunch from Intermezzo cafe (if in compliance with university COVID-19 testing requirements) or from one of the food trucks that will be available, and experience this musical event in an in-person, yet socially-distanced, environment!
This event will last approximately five hours.
The event will take place unless weather causes a safety concern. Any weather-related announcements will be posted here at 9am on April 30.
