UI Women's Glee Club Annual Moms Weekend Concert

Women’s Glee Club will be performing one of the latest major works written for treble choirs called Suffrage Cantata by renowned composer Andrea Ramsey. The composer notes, “The music and texts capture the struggle for suffrage among women who were separated by the color line, but united in an understanding of the importance of women having the capacity to participate as full and equal citizens.”
