Krannert Center Youth Series Season Preview + Educator Appreciation Event
The Youth Series serves PreK-12 schools through youth-oriented performances by professional artists at Krannert Center during the school day. At Krannert Center we believe that the performing arts are essential to nurturing wellness and interconnection in our education community. Through the Youth Series, children and youth experience meaningful artistry, encounter the breadth of genres in the performing arts, and move toward deeper intercultural understanding. We look forward to welcoming students from public, private, and home schools throughout our region and sharing with them the magic of live performance.

The Krannert Center Youth Series is dedicated to sharing the life-affirming power of live performance with school communities throughout central Illinois. Formed in 1982 through a visionary collaboration between Krannert Center and the Children's Theatre Incorporated-a local presenter and producer for young audiences-the Youth Series has touched the lives of over 360,000 young people in its 43-year history. Children who grew up with the Youth Series are now sharing these remarkable experiences with their own students. Join us!
