Showcase + Gift Shop

Due to current safety considerations, Promenade is temporarily closed. Check back here for updates about its future re-opening.

Showcase: The showcase highlights everything about Krannert Center—our history, the students who study here, the productions we are creating, and all of the work that comes out of our shops, classrooms, and venues—which allows us to further engage with our patrons by giving them a peek into all areas of Krannert Center. We collaborate with departments within Krannert Center and the College of Fine and Applied Arts to create these displays, which will rotate throughout the season as new works are created in our classrooms and shops.

Gift Shop: We are continually adding new products and restocking some old favorites at Promenade gift shop including snacks, Krannert Center merchandise, and our wide selection of cards. We are also adding more products and recordings that come directly from the artists and students who perform on our stages, as well as artwork created by University of Illinois students in the College of Fine and Applied Arts including jewelry, ceramics, paintings, prints and more.

Gift Cards

Still stumped or unable to choose? Krannert Center gift cards will solve your dilemma. They never expire, and they can be redeemed here and at Intermezzo cafe, the Stage 5 Bar, and the Ticket Office, too. They’re available for purchase anytime at Promenade, through the Ticket Office, and online. You can check your Krannert Center gift card balance anytime as well.

Directions + PARKing

Promenade is located in the southwest corner of the Krannert Center Lobby and is most easily accessed from the green or blue parking garages off of Oregon Street or the building entrances on Goodwin Avenue or Oregon Street. If you're driving, you can’t beat the free parking on evenings and weekends—and 30 minutes of free parking on weekdays in designated spaces in the green underground parking garage (lower south level on the Oregon Street side) is the perfect amount of time for that afternoon jaunt to see what's new at Promenade.
