Spurlock Museum Open House

After select performances at Krannert Center, visit the Spurlock Museum of World Cultures. Just across from Krannert Center on Gregory Street, Spurlock galleries are open for further exploration and enrichment. Enjoy hands-on interactive activities and explore the cultural context of select Youth Series performances. Teachers and chaperones are encouraged to make flexible use of the Museum. There are no guided tours, so you determine the length of your visit. Maps and Museum guides will help you find where activities are hosted in the galleries. This option is great for both classroom and home-schooled students. No reservation is necessary, but if you have special requests or needs, please call or email so we can better accommodate your class. We recommend lower student-to-adult ratios (preferably 10:1) for this self-led experience. Admission is always free at Spurlock Museum. School groups are always welcome to visit the Museum’s regular gallery displays on days when there are no Open House activities planned.
