Tryon Festival Theatre
The Champaign Urbana Ballet again dreams up an elegant portrayal of the magical E.T.A. Hoffmann tale through imaginative costumes, the choreographic artistry of Deanna Doty, and the splendid interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s timeless score by Sinfonia da Camera under the baton of Maestro Ian Hobson. The creative team of Andy and David Warfel will adorn the Festival stage with fanciful lighting and enchanting set designs that give a delightfully contemporary lift to this classic ballet.
