Krannert Center seeks a visiting academic engagement liaison. The hired candidate will help to integrate the Center’s work more deeply into the university’s academic culture and curriculum through campus-based engagement activities. The liaison will serve as the campus-focused co-chair of the Center’s engagement group to lead collaboratively in the areas of intellectual and administrative oversight, program development and execution, budget design and management, documentation and assessment, coordination of facilities and staff, and extensive contact with those internal and external to the university. The liaison will also serve as the project manager for the next iteration of the Art | Creativity | Diversity course. A bachelor’s degree in the performing arts or a related field is required. The College of Fine and Applied Arts seeks a director of communications. Reporting to the dean of FAA, the director will develop and oversee a college communications and marketing strategy. This role requires a close working relationship with the dean; other members of the college administrative staff, including the assistant dean of recruitment and admissions and the assistant dean of advancement; and the communications design team at Krannert Center. A bachelor’s degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred. Applicants should have at least five years of professional communications experience or experience in a strongly related field and demonstrated knowledge of desktop publishing, web design, website development and maintenance, accessibility standards, social media, print production, graphic design, and photography and art from the perspective of a project manager. Candidates must have professional-level writing and editing skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop effective working relationships with a broad population.
